Japan, IAEA to cooperate in nuclear trainingTokyo:On monday, Japan’s Fukui  Prefecture reach on agreement with the International energy Agency (IAEA) on cooperation in coaching nuclear and tomography engineers.

The two sides will use the prefecture’s nuclear plants and tomography facilities to coach young Japanese and foreign engineers, consistent with the memorandum signed by Fukui Governor Issei Nishikawa and UN agency director general Yukiya Amano, reports Xinhua.

“We would love to require advantage of Fukui Prefecture’s expertise to contribute towards nuclear safety round the world,” said Nishikawa.

The prefecture expects to receive UN agency technical support for nuclear plant safety management and tomography medical services.
