KAILASHNew Delhi, Oct 10: Indian kid rights activist Kailash Satyarthi who Fri won the Nobel Peace Prize for 2014 expressed hope that the award can provide strength to the struggle of several youngsters operating as labourers.

“This award may be a dedication to all those people and activists fighting for the reason for youngsters. I hope this can provide strength to the struggle of youngsters operating as labourers,” Satyarthi told.

Satyarthi shared the Nobel Peace Prize with Pakistani teenager Malala Yousufzai who stood up to the Taliban and survived a near-fatal shooting.

Satyarthi, who runs the Bachpan Bachao Andolan, an NGO that works for kid rights, specially secured labour, aforesaid that the award is an honour for fellow Indians in addition as for all those youngsters within the world whose voices were ne’er detected before properly.

He aforesaid he was glad to all those that have supported him in his struggle.

The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the Peace Prize for 2014 to Satyarthi and Malala Yousufzai “for their struggle against the suppression {of youngsters|of youngsters|of kids} and young people and for the proper of all children to education,” an announcement aforesaid.
