MUMBAI: Mukesh Ambani-managed Reliance Industries plans to run an unique rooster restaurant chain in India in partnership with a UK-based firm as he seeks a chew of the quick service restaurant (QSR) pie, which is pegged to grow at 30% every year. on condition that Ambani is a strict vegetarian, it’s a clear signal that business selections can be separated from a person’s dietary and standard of living alternatives.
The chain, to be known as ‘chicken came First’ will immediately compete with KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken), the world’s most popular rooster restaurant chain.
RIL has picked up a 45% fairness stake in Two Sisters foods India (TSFI), which belongs to 2 Sisters food workforce (2SFG). 2SFG, the 1/3 greatest food firm in UK, provides poultry, red meat, fish, and bakery and chilled/frozen merchandise to the retail, meals service and meals manufacturing sectors.
