Agra, October 28 Over a hundred and twenty prisoners and the deputy superintendent of the central jail here are admitted to hospital after being diagnosed with dengue, authorities said.
The prisoners and K.P. Singh(Jail’s Deputy Superintendent ) were admitted to the district hospital and the metal Medical college hospital.
Officials said a hundred patients were being treated in the Sn Medical college hospital whereas twenty three were in the district hospital.
Blood samples of the other prisoners are taken as a precautions, said Senior Jail B.R. Verma(Superintendent ).
A Safai Abhiyaan (cleanliness drive) was launched in the jail Sunday.
