Guwahati, Jan 30: At least 10 people were killed and eight others injured after armed attackers fired indiscriminately at a village under the Behali reserve forest of Sonitpur district in Assam Wednesday evening.
Three other people reportedly were missing, police said.
State Home Commissioner G.D. Tripathy confirmed the incident and said police are rushed to the area, which borders Arunachal Pradesh.
