Modi condemns Istanbul airport attack

New Delhi, June 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemns Istanbul airport attack on Tuesday night that killed 36 folks and injured over 145 others.

Modi condemns Istanbul airport attack“Modi condemns Istanbul airport attack is inhuman and horrific. I condemn it strongly. My ideas are with bereaved households. Could the injured get better rapidly,” the Prime Minister tweeted.

In the meantime, the Ministry of Exterior Affairs (MEA) confirmed that no Indian was reported among the many casualties.

The MEA additionally tweeted emergency helpline numbers for Indians caught at Istanbul airport.

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yildirim blamed the Islamic State (IS) for the assaults.

No group has claimed accountability for the assault.
