Kolkata, April twenty six : Saradha scam of chit fund suspect and Trinamool Congress leader Madan Mitra, who is currently in jail, was on weekday admitted to the SSKM hospital once he complained of pain.
Sources added the previous state transport and sports minister was admitted beneath the medicine department wherever he was brought in an medical automobile from the Alipore correctional Home (as jails are referred to as in Bengal).
Tests were being applied to assess his condition who is accused of Saradha scam.
Mitra is contesting the province assembly polls as a Trinamool candidate from North twenty four Parganas district’s Kamarhati body that visited the campaigning on Monday.
Mitra has been behind bars since his arrest on Dec twelve, 2014, barring a quick amount in October 2015 once he was granted bail by a lower court. The relief was subsequently off by the Calcutta high court.
