Mumbai, March 1: Actress Sonam Kapoor’s daring bikini shot in “Bewakoofiyaan” could have raised some eyebrows, however her father Anil Kapoor was unfazed. In fact, he said it’d get the film a “good opening”.
“He knew that (the bikini shot)! My pa is an artist and he’s terribly open-minded…actually he was the one who inspired me to become an actress. He did not say something, he simply said the film can get a decent gap,” Sonam said at a press conference for the film’s promotion here Fri.
The tall actress, who was once on the heavier aspect on the weighing scale, says she didn’t have to go through much stress and strain to appear fit enough for a bikini scene.
“I didn’t have to work laborious because i’m enjoying a regular woman within the film. I have a bent to place on weight however my routine was identical for this film. you’ll not see me as a principal during this movie as i’m enjoying a regular woman,” she said.
While there has been a lot of speak on whether Sonam has been ready to accomplish the two-piece garment, she says she always knew concerning the scene and she was comfy with it.
“When I signed the film, it had been my idea. i was briefed that there’s a pool there and i got to wear swimsuit. I said my body is lean, and it’s skinny on the waist…so let’s simply show that. If you see the shot…unlike the shots in films like ‘Dhoom’ or ‘Race’, cameras are not panned on the body.
“It’s a normal shot wherever i’m wearing a swimsuit and jump into the pool,” she further.
