New Delhi, Aug 11: Swaraj Abhiyan members held a protest outside a police station here on Tuesday once their founder-member Yogendra Yadav was arrested once hour.
A total of 92 members, as well as Yadav, of the Swaraj Abhiyan were arrested around 1 a.m. on Tuesday from Jantar Mantar, wherever they control a protest, demanding adequate compensation for farmers suffering from the land bill also as those hit by crop loss.
Yadav et al were at the Parliament Street police sation.
“We are holding a protest outside the police station since 2 a.m. once Yogendra Yadav was arrested,” Yadav’s aide Anil Kumar Maurya told.
“We do not know what’s occurring as we’ve not been up on by the police,” he said.
He said they had up on the Delhi commissioner concerning their rally, and were told they may go ahead.
