Nitish for ‘Thali’ beating before Bihar shutdown

NITISPatna, Feb 24: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Mon urged people to participate in ‘thali’ beating March one in support of the state closing the subsequent day to protest denial of special class standing to Bihar.

JD-U state president Vashisht Narain Singh said the act symbolises support of all people across the state.

Last week, Nitish Kumar required a state wide closing in Bihar day.

“I appeal to all the people of Bihar to support the day-long bandh day to protest the injustice done to Bihar,” he said.
