The Telangana statehood issue is probably going to be taken up within the Union cabinet meeting on thursday. Headlines these days has learnt that the cabinet note on Telangana issue is prepared.
The note suggested Hyderabad to be the capital of the projected new Telangana state, whereas the choice for a capital for the remainder of state has been left open.
After completion, the draft note would be sent to the law ministry for legal vetting before being given to the cabinet once more. the cabinet, when approving the creation of the separate state, is anticipated to line up a bunch of ministers (GoM) to travel threadbare into the problems arising out of the bifurcation of the state.
According to sources, the Center would then send a resolution to the state Assembly for adoption.
Since the announcement of the formation of a separate state concerning 2 months past, the Seemandhra and Rayalaseema regions are witnessing protests over the projected bifurcation.
