17 killed, 34 injured in Pakistan blast (Lead)

pakistan attackOn Islamabad at least 17 people were killed and over 34 injured Friday afternoon when a blast hit a bus carrying government employees in Pakistan’s northwest city of Peshawar, an official said.

The blast was took place at 12:30 when a bomb put on inside the bus which was on its way back from Peshawar to Charsadda said bySahibzada Andes.Xinhua report,that is a neighbouring town,which is  20 km north of Peshawar.

The bomb was put on inside the bus carton on the back seat of bus said by bomb squad   and it was discharge by a time device.

They also said in bomb atleast six to eight kg of explosives were used.

Due to this blast the bus was severely damage.

According to media report,there were at least 50 people in the bus when the blast occurred.

The civil secretariat in Peshawar is the place where the bus people working.

The injured patient were brought to Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital and others were shifted to the district headquarters hospital in Charsadda. Some of the injured were in very critical condition and the death toll may rise further.
