Gandhinagar, May 16: “India has won,” BJP’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi tweeted Friday as his party appeared headed for a snug majority within the Lok Sabha.
“India has won. Bharat ki vijay. Achche din aane wale hain,” the Gujarat chief minister aforesaid shortly when calling on his mother Hiraben.
Modi was the creator of an aggressive BJP campaign that left has nearly crushed the Congress, that ruled India for a decade from 2004.
