New Delhi, May 08: On the eve of his demitting workplace when 10 years at the top of a UPA coalition government, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is to “address the people” during a farewell address.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh would be demitting workplace on may 17, a day when the Lok Sabha elections results are declared. He had earlier this year declared his retirement, when a decade at the helm of 2 ordered United Progressive Alliance (UPA) governments.
“It will be a form of address to the people.. the method of writing the speech has begun,” a PMO official told.
On Jan 3, this year Prime Minister Manmohan Singh addressed his final press conference, and only his third one in 10 years. He declared his retirement from politics at the press conference.
