Mumbai, Feb 28: The crew of Nikhil Advani’s “Hero” is in Manali to shoot some scenes with Sooraj Pancholi and a couple of romantic duets with the actor and his co-star Aathiya Shetty.
The romantic songs to be recorded on the debutant couple would be original tunes composed by Sachin-Jigar. The team left for Manali Thursday.
“Initially, Nikhil planned to use a remixed version of the first romantic duet from Subhash Ghai ‘Hero’… ‘Tu mera janu hai tu mera dilbar hai’. however with music company Saregama charging through the roof for the first songs, Nikhil Advani has opted to induce fresh songs recorded,” said a supply.
The new romantic duet that might be shot in Himachal took it slow to be composed.
“Nikhil Advani’s films have forever boasted of outstanding songs and music. He asked Sachin-Jigar to compose a romantic duet to rival Laxmikant-Pyarelal’s ‘Tu mera janu hai’ and ‘Pyaar karne wale’ from the first ‘Hero’,” the supply another.
The director also plans to shoot intense action sequences in Himachal.
“Sooraj can do bare-backed action scenes shot at a really high altitude. the thought is to create the action sequences top-notch since the word is that Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger, in his debut film ‘Hero-Panti’ has done a number of the best stunts ever during a Hindi film.
“Sooraj’s forte is drama and emotions. Stunts do not come back as naturally to him as they do to Tiger. Sooraj has been practising onerous to master the stunts. The ‘Hero’ team has devised some intricate shirtless action for Sooraj within the rugged rocky Himalayan terrain,” the supply said.
