New Delhi, Jan 31: The govt. will convene a special assembly session at the Indira Gandhi stadium here to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill Feb 16, Education Minister Manish Sisodia said Fri.
“In the special assembly session at Indira Gandhi structure, the govt. can pass the Jan Lokpal Bill Feb 16,” Sisodia told the media once a cabinet meeting.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced that the bill would be passed at Ramlila Maidan – a sprawling ground in the heart of the town.
“Today (Friday) the bill was placed before the cabinet and it’ll be discussed Monday,” added Sisodia.
He also said the assembly session would be held from Feb 13 to 16.
