Kolkata, Jan 11: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Sat claimed West Bengal tops the country in credit inflows to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector, achieving a growth rate of over 105 %.
“We are No.1 in credit flow within the MSME sector within the country. throughout the April-September 2012 amount, the credit ensue banks within the MSME sector in Bengal was the very best at Rs.4,331 crore.
“Again, we are still No.1 throughout the April-September 2013 amount, with the very best credit flow of Rs.8,900 crore to the MSME sector. this can be quite 105 per cent increase on year-to-year basis,” Banerjee aforesaid on her official Facebook page.
Asserting that other states, including Gujarat, have recorded a mean growth below 50 per cent, Banerjee attributed her government’s success to “persistent follow-up in providing the entrepreneurs all necessary help for fitting and running business successfully”.
