Hyderabad, Jan 8: Actress Shruti Haasan, who recently underwent a surgery for appendicitis here, resumed work Wednesday. She shot for Akshay Kumar-starrer “Gabbar”.
“Gabbar” went on floors Wednesday.
“(I’m) back in Mumbai and back to shoot. Bye bye appendix, hello New Year. I hate pain. Day one in all ‘Gabbar’,” the 27-year-old tweeted post surgery.
Shruti, who was here Sunday to be after Telugu film “Race Gurram” and to market her forthcoming unleash “Yevadu”, was admitted to jubilee Hills Apollo hospital when she complained of acute stomach ache.
“She was treated for appendicitis. Apparently, she was struggling with it for quite a while and she came sure a minor surgery and got it treated. She was kept under observation for each day, and was discharged Tuesday,” an official from the hospital told.
Shruti thanked her fans for their desires on Twitter.
She wrote: “Hello tweeps! thank you for all your love and find well soon wishes! (My) Appendix out and (I’m) impatient to travel albeit a little slowly”.
