New Delhi, Dec twenty one: It was a cold morning within the city. many trains were delayed or off because of the fog, authorities aforesaid.
An official of the Northern Railway aforesaid around thirty eight trains coming back to Delhi were running late because of the fog and poor visibility.
The Northern Railway has also declared cancellation of 53 trains between Dec 21 and Dec 30 because of dense fog.
“There was shallow fog within the morning. The sky are going to be mainly clear however can become partially cloudy within the afternoon. The day’s most temperature is likely to hover around 21 degrees Celsius,” aforesaid associate India meteorologic Department (IMD) official.
The minimum temperature Saturday settled at twelve.5 degrees Celsius, four notches higher than the season’s average. The Met office has forecast a cloudy day ahead. The visibility dropped to around 600 metres at 8.30 a.m.
Friday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 11.6 degrees Celsius – 3 notches higher than the season’s average, whereas the maximum temperature was 19.7 degrees Celsius – 3 notches below the season’s average.
