Gadchiroli, Maharashtra: 3 commandos were killed in an ambush by Naxals within the thick jungles close to Gadchiroli in Maharashtra late last night.
Reports suggest that the Naxals attacked a patrolling team of the crack C-60 police commandos a bit after late night at the Kotasurya jungles within the Gadchiroli district, that lies on the red corridor that’s worst affected by Maoist violence. A landmine blast, followed by indiscriminate firing, killed three commandos instantly and wounded four others.
