New Delhi:It was a pleasant rainy morning in the capital Saturday, with the minimum temperature recorded a notch below average at 19.9 degree Celsius. The weatherman forecasts light rain ahead in the day.
“The skies will remain generally cloudy, with rain and thunder shower in some parts of the city,” a India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.
The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 30 degree Celsius.
The national capital recorded 38.6 mm of rain in last 24 hours, the official said.
Friday’s maximum temperature went eight notches below normal, to 26.1 degrees Celsius. The minimum temperature recorded was 21.5 degrees Celsius, average for this time of the year.
