Kartik Aaryan is currently in the capital filming his upcoming project Naagzilla, and this time, the spotlight shifted to one of the city’s most iconic landmarks — India Gate.After photographs of the actor shooting in Laxmi Nagar circulated widely online earlier this week, the production moved to the India Gate area near Mansingh Road. Visuals from the location by Hindustan Times show Kartik filming a high-energy action sequence, performing stunt moves while taking on a group of on-screen adversaries.The film is directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and marks Kartik’s reunion with producer Karan Johar. The team arrived in Delhi after wrapping up an initial schedule in Mumbai.Earlier, the actor’s shoot at the Laxmi Nagar metro station drew large crowds. Despite the busy setting, fans gathered in significant numbers to catch a glimpse of him as filming continued amid peak-hour footfall.The collaboration between Kartik and Karan Johar has seen its share of ups and downs. The duo had initially teamed up for Dostana 2, but the project did not move forward, fuelling speculation of a professional fallout. However, they later reunited for Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, and are now working together on Naagzilla, signalling a renewed partnership.The film’s mahurat ceremony was held in November 2025 and was attended by Karan Johar. In a video shared from the event, Kartik is heard saying, “Insaano wali picturein to bahut dekh li. Ab dekho naago wali picture. [We have seen plenty of human movies. Now, let us watch one about snakes.]”The text accompanying the post read, “We’re not just rolling…we’re slithering into the world of #Naagzilla! Day 1 was filled with laughter, blessings, positivity and too much fun!
